OUR FOUNDERS
NICHOLAS HUGHES | CEO
Nicholas Hughes is a founding partner and CEO of EITR Technologies. As part of his daily duties, he’s responsible for all of those super awesome elements of the CEO job that you read about as a kid, like setting the strategic direction of the company and modeling corporate values. Additionally, Nick stills performs technical consulting work with specializations in Automation & Orchestration, Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud Security, and Systems Architecture. He has over 20 years of experience in a wide breadth of roles within Information Technology, which is invaluable to clients seeking comprehensive technical solutions to business problems. Nick highly values pragmatism, logical thinking, and integrity in both his business and personal life… which is a decidedly boring set of core values that reap great results when applied to the task at hand. He also has a wonderful wife and two boys, who keep him on his toes.
STEPHANIE PHIFER | CTO
Stephanie Phifer is CTO and founding partner of EITR Technologies. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics with a Minor in Vocal Music Performance from Hood College in Frederick, MD in 2008. Stephanie entered the engineering world as an Intern for Harris Corporation in 2007 through the National Security Scholarship Program. Over her career, she has grown through the stack from UI Design and Development to Service Layer Engineering to Database and Big Data Systems. Her most recent focus has been Cloud based Enterprise Big Data Systems and Analytics supported by robust Automation and Orchestration capabilities. When she is not being a complete nerd, she can be found jamming with her favorite local musicians or “momming” for her wonderful husband, two amazing daughters, and their pets.
JONATHAN GORDON | COO
Jonathan Gordon is a founding partner and Chief Operating Officer of EITR Technologies. He has over 13 years of network engineering experience with a primary focus on network security and automation. Jonathan started his career as an aspiring chef and graduated from Johnson & Wales University in 2003. The culinary industry didn't pan out, pun intended, and he changed his career path to Information Technology. His ambition and ability to learn quickly allowed him to rise up through the ranks in short order. He has deployed and maintained a wide variety of network technologies and also lent his network subject matter expertise to analytic developers writing code to inspect network traffic and events across several enterprise networks. Jon is passionate about underground hip-hop and network automation, in that order. When he’s not working, he enjoys spending time with his loving wife and two children.
