HRT needed to transition away from its legacy configuration management architecture and settled on Salt, an open source event-based automation platform, as its successor technology. Due to the complexities of the platform, HRT was facing a long timeline for Salt Project Implementation had they only used their in-house engineers. At the same time, they were reluctant to outsource because they wanted their team to develop expertise and not be reliant on consultants for vital business processes.
Solution
HRT was able to leverage EITR’s depth of knowledge to reduce troubleshooting time and adopt Salt Project open source software faster while building in-house expertise with customized training courses, access to EITR code samples, and working with knowledgeable EITR engineers.

DOD needed quick deployment of Kubernetes clusters, but they had no existing expertise with AWS cloud services and Infrastructure as Code. If the developers were unable to access the platforms and services they needed, the project schedules for nearly every software application on the program would slip.
Solution
With EITR’s expertise and guidance, DOD was able to deploy IaC for the deployment of Rancher and EKS clusters to handle multi-project development environments for micro-services and associated shared services, which led to faster and more reproducible cluster deployments, measurable software-based outcomes, resilience, and more secure default implementations through IaC static code analysis.

Deployed Terraform IaC and Kubernetes YAML or the deployment of Rancher and EKS clusters to handle multi-project development, pre-production, and production environments for microservices
Deployed associated shared services platform, including Harbor, Velero, ArgoCD, NGINX Ingress, Linkerd, Kyverno, Prometheus, Grafana, Falco, cert-manager, Sealed Secrets, etc.
